Silent Battles - Chapter 2 - The Language of Symbols
Liv was seen by others as out of this world. Her gaze was always somewhere else, but a great spectacle was taking place in her mind.
She found herself in a vast space, and wherever she turned, there were not just one but several doors. She thought she was losing her mind. She couldn't even read what was written on the doors, and in fear of what was happening to her, she collapsed to the ground, crying and screaming for help, with hope.
Outwardly, she appeared different from how she felt inside. She seemed detached, as if she weren’t herself. She kept looking toward the window and smiled now and then.

Many doctors were unable to help—until one finally arrived who seemed quite strict, but it was clear from his expression that he knew what he was doing. He radiated calm and authority. He seemed firm, but not cold.
It was Dr. Elias Kovach, an analytical psychologist focused on the Jungian tradition. He had a deep understanding of symbolism, dreams, and inner imagery. He believed the psyche communicates through images and symbols, and that Liv’s “world of doors” held a meaning waiting to be discovered. His approach wasn’t directive—he didn’t correct, but guided.

Liv sat in a chair, hands clasped, eyes fixed on the window. Dr. Kovach sat across from her, opened a notebook, but didn’t write. He remained silent.
“I was told you could see a door,” he said after a moment. His voice was deep but gentle. Liv didn’t respond much—just blinked once in acknowledgment.
“What if the door isn’t a threat, but an invitation?”
For the first time, Liv did something different—she looked at the doctor, not with fear, but with curiosity.
“Maybe your mind isn’t broken. Maybe it’s just trying to say something… in a different language.”
At that moment, Liv’s gaze changed. Something stirred inside her—the first hint that perhaps she wasn’t lost, just misunderstood.
